Privacy Policy

The short version

• Your photo is used only to render your buzz cut previews.
• Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours; rendered previews within 14 days.
• Your photos are never used to train any AI model, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Photos you upload and the preview images rendered from them.
• Purchase records: what you bought, when, and how many credits you have. Card details are entered on our payment provider's page; we never see or store your card number.
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and rough location from your IP address, collected with analytics tools. We also log IP addresses to stop abuse of free previews.

How we use your photo

When you upload a photo, we send it to our image-generation provider, which renders the guard lengths you pick and returns the images to us. The photo is used for that and nothing else. It is not shown to anyone else, not added to any gallery, and not used to train models, by us or by the provider.

How long we keep things

• Uploaded photos: deleted within 24 hours.
• Rendered previews: kept by our image-generation provider for up to 14 days, then deleted. Save any preview you want to keep.
• Account and credit balance: kept while your account exists.
• Purchase records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Analytics and security logs: kept for a limited period, then deleted or anonymised.

Who we share data with

Only the services needed to run the site:

• the image-generation provider that renders previews
• our payment provider, which processes purchases
• hosting, storage and email providers
• analytics providers

Each one receives only what its job needs. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. Analytics cookies are used only as described in our cookie notice, where you can change your choice.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

TryBuzzcut is not meant for anyone under 16. Do not upload photos of children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
